NIGERIAN NATIONAL RETINA VEIN OCCLUSION STUDY

This currently ongoing nationwide study of retina vein occlusion in 17 Nigerian hospitals is anchored by the Retinal Vein Occlusion Study Group (RVOSG) of the Vitreoretinal Society of Nigeria. The study seeks to determine magnitude and pattern of RVOs, risk factors as well as current management mode and challenges. The findings should inform relevant policy formulation with regards to community education for disease prevention and compile evidence based preferred practice pattern for management of RVO.
